Khalid Miah
Dr. Khalid Miah is a dual national of the United States and Canada. He has fifteen plus years of post-PhD experience in engineering teaching/research in the United States and Canada. He received B.S. (Aerospace Engineering), M.S. and Ph.D. (Electrical and Computer Engineering) from the University of Texas at Austin. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at University of Alberta, and visiting fellow with the federal government of Canada. In the U.S., he worked as faculty member (tenure-track and teaching-track) at Montana Technological University, Purdue University – Indianapolis, Mississippi State University, and Fort Lewis College. Besides academia, he worked as a new product engineer at a leading semiconductor equipment manufacturer in Texas, and multiple graduate R&D internships at private industry including Schlumberger. In personal life, Dr. Miah is an outdoor enthusiast and avid long-distance trail-runner. He participated multiple 100+ miles trail-running races in the U.S. and Canada.
